Development of Anjanapura BDA Layout

            Anjanapura BDA layout(Bangalore) was formed more than 10 years ago.  Construction activity is limited to certain blocks and in many blocks there is very little activity.  At this rate it would take at least another 15 years  for this layout to develop.

             There are many site owners who are nearing their end of  their career.  If they do not construct their houses immediately, they won’t be in a position to repay their loans.  

              There are many people who want to construct houses  but are worried about  security. People do not want to settle in an isolated place.  They wait for others to construct first  and make the layout  habitable.   The greatest problem for the site allotees is that they do not know how to contact other allottees in the same layout.  

            For an area to develop, firstly, people have to settle there and then approach the authorities like BESCOM, BWSSB,BDA, BMTC etc. for   facilities.  Unless there is a sizeable population they also would not come forward to provide the necessary facilities.

                  There is an active forum for discussion of house building activities in Bangalore called  'mybdasites'. Through this forum the site allotees can contact each other and plan their construction.  This is an excellent forum and thousands of people constructing/repairing their houses have reaped benefits of it.
